OUTDOOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
Your next adventure starts here
When was the last time you felt truly adventurous? Not in a virtual world, but out here – in the fresh air, surrounded by trees, with space to breathe and room to explore. That’s what our Outdoor Adventure Activities are all about: real experiences that excite, challenge and leave you buzzing long after the day ends.
Adventure doesn’t have to mean extreme sports or daring stunts. For us, it’s about creating experiences that make you curious, confident and full of stories to share.
There is a range of options for getting children outdoors and thriving.
Get in touch so that we can design something that suits your needs.
What does an adventure look like?
Adventure means stepping beyond the everyday and trying something new. Our activities are tailored to your group, but they often include:
Woodland navigation challenges – Learn to find your way without GPS
Shelter building competitions – Who can create the most creative camp?
Fire-lighting challenges – Master sparks and flames using traditional techniques
Nature scavenger hunts – Explore, identify and collect treasures from the wild
Mini survival scenarios – Work together to solve real-life challenges
Wild cooking sessions – Prepare food over an open flame and enjoy a proper woodland feast
Each session can be as relaxed or as energetic as you like – this is about enjoyment, not pressure.

WOLF PACK FOR GIRLS (14-16 yrs)
A wild, free and very fun week in August for a group of warrior women.

CALL TO ADVENTURE for boys 12-13 yrs
Outdoor mentoring programme for a group of boys aged 12-13 (Years 7 & 8).
3 trips between May and October, including an expedition to Dartmoor. Participants often get a lot of “first times” under their belt, and a lot of confidence.
The benefits of a real adventure
Outdoor adventure isn’t just fun; it’s incredibly rewarding:
Confidence building – Achieve something tangible and real
Improved teamwork – Shared challenges bring people closer
Boosted creativity – Problem-solving in an open, natural setting
Stress relief – Time in nature works wonders for mental health
Physical benefits – Gentle exercise that feels like play, not a chore
These are the kinds of experiences that stick – the ones you’ll talk about for years to come.
“Chris established an excellent rapport with our students from the start, getting them excited and actively engaged as soon as they arrived for our residential. Not only did he demonstrate a strong understanding of how to manage a large group of children, his interaction with students was always positive and developmentally appropriate. Chris was clearly concerned about the social and emotional well-being of our students, and the activities on offer masterfully balanced play, imagination, adventure, and outdoor skills. It was such a memorable and high quality nature-based learning experience, that we asked him to return the following year.”
Chris Hupp, Class teacher, ACS Cobham
